Graduating magna cum laude from Duke University, Dr. Coben completed her medical education at the University of Miami School of Medicine and Radiology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Memorial Hospital, and her Body Imaging Fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Coben is an active member of the Society for Pediatric Radiology, a professional medical association dedicated to leadership in advancing pediatric healthcare through imaging and image-related therapy. Dr. Coben’s SPR membership recognizes her experience and competency at the level of a Fellowship-trained pediatric radiologist.
Inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society, she acted as its President 1991-1992. She is member of multiple medical societies including The American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and The Society of Women Radiologists. Dr. Coben has special interest in musculoskeletal and pediatric imaging. She is Certified by The American Board of Radiology.
